This year, we had the privilege of celebrating Singapore’s 59ᵗʰ year of independence, by attending the National Day Parade at Padang. While waiting for the parade to start, a sudden downpour had us drenched. Emerging after the rain are the real stars of the day — the huge team that swooped in to dry the field. The parade continued after without a hitch, making it a day to remember.
